The redevelopment will include: 

  • A brand-new western grandstand with improved safety, sight lines and spectator facilities 

  • Significant upgrades to the eastern grandstand with new seating and toilet facilities 

  • More food and beverage outlets and amenities to improve gameday experience and speed of service 

  • New scoreboards, sound systems, ribbon boards and lighting 

  • New secure entries and turnstiles to improve security and flow in and out of events 

  • Increased ground capacity of around 25,000  

  • Redesigned steeper grandstands to maximise seating, with premier views between the try lines to bring fans closer to the action 

  • Improved player facilities for both men’s and women’s sports 

  • A family-friendly environment that preserves the north and south hills  

  • Quality open space for fan activations at sport and entertainment events 

  • Reconfigured warm-up field and community parkland.


The stadium precinct will:
