Project design
In January the NSW Government unveiled draft plans for Penrith Stadium to transform the precinct into a modern venue for sport and entertainment.
The proposed design responds to feedback from over 3,000 fans, families and community members since 2022. It will be a family-friendly design that respects the stadium’s history and importance to the local community.
Feedback provided during community consultation in mid-2022 and early 2024 has been carefully considered by the project team to inform the design, which will:

transform the precinct into a modern venue for sport and entertainment

improve the game day experience for fans and players

create a superior Stadium venue for sports events, live music and entertainment

upgrade to modern facilities and amenities to cater for NRL and NRLW matches

meet modern accessibility requirements
