The grandstands

The new grandstands have been redesigned to maximise seating with premium views to the field or stage.

There will be new seating, more food and beverage outlets and amenities in both stands leading to shorter wait times on game days for improved fan experience. Enhanced technology such as new scoreboards, sound systems, and lighting will elevate the atmosphere during events.

Eastern grandstand

The lower tier of the eastern grandstand features a section designed for all-ability access, ensuring compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). Additionally, there will be a handrail situated in the centre of the aisle, all in accordance with statutory compliance requirements, particularly the Green Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds. 

Western grandstand

The western grandstand has corporate suites, media boxes and function rooms.   

The red outline illustrates the original gradient of the existing grandstands before demolition, while the black outline shows the new, steeper grandstands designed to maximise seating capacity and improve sightlines to both the field and stage areas.
