The grandstands
The new grandstands have been redesigned to maximise seating with premium views to the field or stage.
There will be new seating, more food and beverage outlets and amenities in both stands leading to shorter wait times on game days for improved fan experience. Enhanced technology such as new scoreboards, sound systems, and lighting will elevate the atmosphere during events.
The red outline shows the original gradient of the grandstands, and the black outline shows the new steeper grandstands to maximise seating and improve sightlines to the field and stage areas.
Eastern grandstand
The eastern grandstand lower tier offers a level dedicated to all ability access (DDA compliant). There will also be a handrail in the centre of the aisle, all in accordance with statutory compliance requirements, in particular the Green Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds.
