Stadium layout and functionality

Stadium levels

View the interactive render below to explore the various stadium levels at the redeveloped Penrith Stadium.

The ground level, or field of play, offers back of house facilities for the west stand, including:

  • player facilities
  • back of house offices and administration
  • main kitchen
  • food and beverage and toilets (for north and south hills).

Food and beverage options, along with toilet facilities will be available for premium General Admission and members seated in the lower west tier. Additionally, similar amenities will serve the seats in the east stand, like those at Commbank Stadium.

This concourse offers views to the field of play, enhancing the atmosphere and keeping fans connected to the game.

This level will include:

  • a large function room for hosting cocktail or banquet type events on both event and non-event days
  • two open air terraces on either end of the lounge
  • dedicated toilets.

This level contains:

  • 34 suites or corporate boxes, with the ability for the central suites to be combined into a larger super suite.
  • A dedicated finishing kitchen with direct access to the goods lift to service the suites
  • A small food and beverage outlet to allow patrons to purchase their own food or beverages.
  • Dedicated toilets facilities.

Level 04 contains the media and operations boxes. This level contains:

  • A camera deck.
  • 2 x officials boxes.
  • 2 x coaches boxes.
  • 3 x radio boxes.
  • 2 x commentary boxes.
  • A larger written press box.
  • A larger operations and production box.
  • Two 200+ person capacity lounges at either end of the level as a corporate hospitality offering.
  • Small food and beverage outlets.
  • Dedicated toilet facilities.

The roof features an elegant, contemporary design, with a simple, repeated cantilevered truss structure to maximise structural efficiency and provide better coverage for patrons.

About half of the seats will be under cover to provide shade and increase comfort for fans.

Grandstands

East Stand: 27.95m

The new East stand will have around 4,500 (50.8%) covered seats, compared to the 3,100 covered seats in the existing east stand.

The new East stand has been slightly reduced by 1.41 metres to streamline and reduce the bulk and scale of the design, aligning with the West stand for a cohesive look across the site.

The height adjustment in the East stand would not impact food, beverage, or restroom facilities. The decrease in height resulted in a minor capacity reduction of 200 seats.

West Stand: 30.15m

The new West stand will have approximately 4,100 (55%) covered seats, compared to the 2,500 covered seats in the existing West stand.

To offset the seats lost in the reduced east stand, the West stand has been slightly enlarged. This change will boost the West stand's capacity from 7,000 to 7,400 seats.
