That’s a wrap for 2025

This year we achieved some incredible project milestones:

  • Completed critical preparation works and relocated major Sydney Water sewer mains beneath the western grandstand
  • Established site offices for the project delivery team
  • Demolished both grandstands, with 100% of remaining seats from demolition recycled into plastic pots and drainage systems
  • Conducted heritage site investigations
  • Completed all piling works
  • Facilitated Connection to Country workshops
  • Installed rainwater tanks
  • Formed the structures for the two new recovery pools, beneath the future western grandstand
  • Poured the first foundation concrete slabs for the new western and eastern grandstands
  • Installed the first of many steel rakers that will form the grandstand superstructures
  • Maintained collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes
  • Attended community events and welcomed local groups and educational organisations for site visits
  • Engaged a range of Western Sydney-based subcontractors, including Doolan Co, Stowe Australia, Performance Access Resources, Borger Cranes, New Edge Group, Cherrie Civil Engineering, Western Precast NSW, Wagstaff Piling, Azzurri Concrete, Austral Steel Fixing Australia, Quality Rigging Services Australia, and SYD-FAB—with more to come!

And that’s just what’s happening on site! Offsite structural steel, precast seating plats and volumetric cores have been fabricated ready for installation.

A huge thank you to all the teams whose hard work this year has brought us closer to the exciting redevelopment of Penrith Stadium.
