Royce Simmons and Craig Gower cement their legacy

Two Panthers legends have left their mark on the future Penrith Stadium.

Royce Simmons and Craig Gower left boot prints and initialled the first piece of concrete slab at the new Penrith Stadium, ensuring their names will forever be part of the Stadium’s next chapter.

The milestone moment took place as construction crews from local contractor Azzurri Concrete began the first concrete pour at the base of the western grandstand. When complete, this grandstand will house corporate suites, media boxes and function rooms.

The multipurpose venue is set to attract new sporting events to Penrith while continuing to support the growth of men’s and women’s rugby league, football and rugby union in Western Sydney.
