Honouring tradition for start of works

In May, the project team came together to honour tradition and embrace safe passage for the workers before starting major construction works.

Uncle Graham Davis from Deerubbin Local Aboriginal Land Council led a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. The ceremony signified respect for the land, its Traditional Custodians, the history of the community and events here at the stadium and the rich cultural heritage of the Dharug people.
