The future stadium will cater to the diverse needs of people.

The new stadium design accommodates:

  • 148 seats for people with a disability and 150 companion seats in the eastern and western stands, a 300% increase in wheelchair accessible seating
  • 18 universal access toilets for the public and 4 universal access toilets for staff, an 85% increase in wheelchair accessible toilets
  • gender neutral player facilities
  • food and beverage spaces and external viewing areas that meet accessible requirements to ensure equitable access.

A safe movement specialist was engaged to provide advice on the needs of ambulant users. The new stadium design will include:

  • an augmented hearing system
  • interior finishes to create a safe environment for neurodivergent and those with visual impairment
  • eco-glo products to assist visually impaired spectators
  • high contrast wayfinding into the interior and exterior design.
