Penrith Stadium redevelopment now on Public Exhibition

The redevelopment of Penrith Stadium has reached a significant milestone with the State Significant Development Application (SSDA) and the supporting Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) now on public exhibition until 25 June 2024.

The purpose of the EIS is to assess the potential environmental, economic, and social impacts of the redevelopment. This crucial step in the planning process ensures all potential impacts are identified and effectively mitigated.

The EIS and associated technical reports can be accessed via the Department of Planning, Housing, and Infrastructures (DPHI) Major Projects Planning Portal. During the public exhibition period, the community is invited to review the EIS and make submissions directly to DPHI.

To support the community in understanding the EIS and accessing relevant information, a Guide to the EIS has been prepared. This guide explains the EIS, the community’s role in the planning process, summarises construction and operational impacts and mitigations, and details how to make a submission during the exhibition period.
